Primary care (all ages) specialty with an out-patient setting. Preceptor is a DNP, FNP, and typically sees 11-20 patients per day. Her facility has consecutive days available for travelling students and it’s near public transportation (bus and train)!

Texas Preceptor in Houston

Primary care (all ages) specialty with an out-patient setting. Preceptor is an FNP, and usually sees 20-30 patients per day of all ages. Her facility offers consecutive, and weekend days for travelling students! Students will gain experience with head-to-toe physicals, assessments, men and women wellness exams, skin tests, and acute and chronic disease management. Texas Preceptor in San Antonio

Primary care (adults only) and Geriatrics specialties with a house call/home visit setting. Preceptor is an FNP, and takes care of 8-12 geriatric patients per day. If you work in this facility you will be exposed to managing wound care, and working with hospice, social workers, adult protection services, community assistance programs, and home health. Her facility has consecutive days available for travelling students and it’s near public transportation (bus)!

Texas Preceptor in San Antonio

Primary care (adults only) and Geriatrics specialties with a house call/home visit setting. Preceptor is an FNP, and takes care of 11-20 geriatric patients per day. At each home, you will do a head to toe assessment, evaluate the patients’ needs, determine the chief complaint with symptoms, problems, and conditions, and complete the ROS and physical assessment documenting on the computer. Primary care (all ages) specialty with an out-patient setting. Preceptor is an FNP, and sees about 8-10 patients a day, mostly adults but also does acute visits for pediatrics, women’s health for birth control, wellness exams, and pap smears. Texas Preceptor in Lake Jackson

Primary care (all ages) specialty with an out-patient setting. Preceptor is an FNP, and usually sees 20-30 patients per day ranging from newborns to elders. At this site you will see a lot of acute and chronic diseases such as HTN, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, dermatology, occupational medicine, and also you will gain experience with mental health, drug screenings, physicals, and vaccinations. The facility offers consecutive days available for travelling students!
