Submitting a Rotation Request

Rotation Requested
Once your rotation request has been submitted, the preceptor will review the details of your rotation request and your profile. This process can take on average 5-7 business days.

Preceptor Paperwork in Progress
When the preceptor accepts your request, we’ll provide them with the university paperwork we have on file for your school. If your school prefers to send paperwork directly, we’ll have them fill out a preceptor and administrator information form instead. Your NPHub Student Coordinator will work with you and your preceptor to get this paperwork completed ASAP. This may take up to 14 business days but is usually completed sooner.


Remaining Payment Due
When your paperwork is completed, you'll receive an email to let you know everything is ready to download! This is when your remaining balance is due. You can choose to pay your balance in full or select from our flexible payment options, including our new 12-month installment plan for qualifying rotations. Please note that your remaining balance will be auto-charged within 14 calendar days if a payment is not made or if a payment plan is not selected.
You'll also receive your preceptor's resume, license information, and board certification with your paperwork.

Awaiting University Approval
Once you’ve downloaded your paperwork, submit everything to your university as soon as you can. Make sure to check in with your university clinical coordinator every so often to see if they have any updates. And don’t worry - if for some reason your school rejects the preceptor, we will find you an alternative site (if available) or provide you with a refund.

Rotation Scheduling
When your university approves your preceptor, log into your Rotation Request Dashboard and click the "My School Has Approved" button. This notifies your preceptor (and us) that you're ready for scheduling. Then your NPHub Student Coordinator will share your preceptor's contact information so you can coordinate your schedule.

If your start date changes, let your Student Coordinator know. That way we can check in once you’ve started to make sure everything is going well.

You’ve made it to the finish line - great job! If you enjoyed your preceptor and clinical rotation, you can leave them a review on your Request Dashboard once your rotation has ended. When you’re ready to book your next preceptor, don’t forget to let your NPHub Student Coordinator know so that they can suggest a preceptor option that works best for you and your university requirements!

Before starting any paperwork, we carefully review your school's specific requirements to ensure your preceptor meets all necessary criteria for your program.
Getting started is simple! Once you find a preceptor that matches your needs, create your free account to see the total rotation costs. To reserve your spot and begin the paperwork process, you'll only need to pay a 15% deposit. This deposit secures your placement and kicks off our comprehensive support process.
While the exact timeline varies depending on your university's approval process, we work efficiently to prepare all necessary documentation. From matching you with a preceptor to preparing your paperwork for submission, we can typically complete our part of the process within 3 weeks. Once your paperwork is prepared, the final timeline will depend on how quickly you download and submit it to your school, then receive their approval.
We handle all the heavy lifting with the paperwork! Our team gathers and prepares all required documentation from your preceptor, including their resume, licenses, and certifications. Once everything is ready, you'll simply need to download the completed paperwork package and submit it to your school for final approval.
Don’t worry! You’re protected by our Perfect Preceptor Promise. If your school doesn't approve the preceptor, we'll work hard to understand the reason for rejection and quickly find you a suitable replacement who meets all requirements. We'll prepare all new paperwork at no additional cost. If we can't find an appropriate replacement, we'll provide you with a full refund.
