Once your rotation request has been submitted, the preceptor will review the details of your rotation request and your profile. This process can take on average 5-7 business days.

When the preceptor accepts your request, we’ll provide them with the university paperwork we have on file for your school. If your school prefers to send paperwork directly, we’ll have them fill out a preceptor and administrator information form instead.
Your NPHub Student Coordinator will work with you and your preceptor to get this paperwork completed ASAP. This may take up to 14 business days but is usually completed sooner.

Once your paperwork is complete, choose from our flexible payment plans—pay in full, or over 3 or 12 months—to spread the cost over time. All plans are available to every student, regardless of rotation cost or timeline. Simply pay your first installment, download your documents (including your preceptor's resume, license information, and board certification), review them, and submit them to your school.

Note: Your remaining balance will be auto-charged within 14 calendar days if a payment is not made or if a payment plan is not selected. 

Once you’ve downloaded your paperwork, submit everything to your university as soon as you can. Make sure to check in with your university clinical coordinator every so often to see if they have any updates.

And don’t worry - if for some reason your school rejects the preceptor, we will find you an alternative site (if available) or provide you with a refund.

When your university approves your preceptor, log into your Rotation Request Dashboard and click the "My School Has Approved" button. This notifies your preceptor (and us) that you're ready for scheduling.
Then your NPHub Student Coordinator will share your preceptor's contact information so you can coordinate your schedule.

If your start date changes, let your Student Coordinator know. That way we can check in once you’ve started to make sure everything is going well.

You’ve made it to the finish line - great job! If you enjoyed your preceptor and clinical rotation, you can leave them a review on your Request Dashboard once your rotation has ended.
When you’re ready to book your next preceptor, don’t forget to let your NPHub Student Coordinator know so that they can suggest a preceptor option that works best for you and your university requirements!
